WFA 2022 Player Survey Launched

The Walking Football Association last conducted an extensive player survey in 2020 in an attempt to better understand who is playing the sport and why, the results of that survey have shaped what they have done since.

Rotary Club Try Walking Football

Our Walking Football club reaches out to create opportunities for groups, clubs, and individuals to try this activity/sport out in a relaxed and fun way. Last Wednesday we had the opportunity to share Walking Football with Guernsey Rotary at KGV Sports Club.

Martel to Compete for First over-75's International

Geoff Martel has been selected for the England first team for the inaugural international match in the over-75s category. The match against Wales will take place at Merthyr Tydfil on 13 April. Martel was chosen after impressing in a four-team tournament between England 70’s A and B league teams.

Paul Wheatley awarded WFA Coach of the Year 2021

Guernsey Walking Football is very proud to announce that one of our coaches, Paul Wheatley, has been awarded one of theWFA Coaches of the Year 2021 (Grassroots Awards) by the Walking Football Association.

Sport Parkinson’s will be at St Georges’ Park National Football Centre, on Saturday 12th March to host a Walking Football Experience like no other for people with Parkinson’s with The Walking Football Association.
