The Walking Football Association last conducted an extensive player survey in 2020 in an attempt to better understand who is playing the sport and why, the results of that survey have shaped what they have done since.

Geoff Martel has been selected for the England first team for the inaugural international match in the over-75s category. The match against Wales will take place at Merthyr Tydfil on 13 April. Martel was chosen after impressing in a four-team tournament between England 70’s A and B league teams.

Guernsey Walking Football is very proud to announce that one of our coaches, Paul Wheatley, has been awarded one of theWFA Coaches of the Year 2021 (Grassroots Awards) by the Walking Football Association.

Sport Parkinson’s will be at St Georges’ Park National Football Centre, on Saturday 12th March to host a Walking Football Experience like no other for people with Parkinson’s with The Walking Football Association.

We enjoyed our international weekend of fixtures so much we produced a summary highlights video showcasing the best of the action on the pitch at Footes Lane. Thanks again to everyone who attended and made the weekend memorable for many reasons.
